Members, Management and Funding

Any citizen who wishes to contribute in the works of the Society can do so either by subscribing as a working member or a volunteer in his/her spare time, allocated according to his/her leisure and his/her circumstances.

The working member pays a membership fee and an annual subscription. After one year of membership, he/she has the right to run for membership on the Board of Directors and to vote during the elections. As for the volunteer, he/she does not pay any fee and has no right to run for any elections or to vote. The Society has an elected Board of Directors that is composed of seven members including the president. The Board chooses from among its members a general secretary to manage the affairs of the Society. In addition to the membership fees and subscriptions, the Society is funded by grants, donations and the contributions of companies and establishments supporting the Society, in addition to the revenues from the selling of publications, charity markets and others.
