Dangers of Smoking

The Opinion of Islam on Smoking!!

Those who called for the banning of smoking took into consideration many evidences such as:

1- It is a drug and a fake and turns the smoker into a nervous individual that is constantly in a bad mood.
2- The Holy Prophet said: { [he] Enjoins them good and forbids them evil}
"Truth are the words of the Almighty"
The Heights - verse number (157)

The Holy Prophet said: {Cast not yourselves to perdition with your own hands} "Truth are the words of the Almighty"
The Cow - verse number (195)

The Holy Prophet, God's blessing and peace be upon him, said "no harm and no harming".
3- Smoking is evil spendthrift according to the Holy Prophet:
{Verily spendthrifts are brothers of the Satan}
"Truth are the words of the Almighty"
The Night Journey - verse number (27)

Psychological Damage Caused by Smoking

1- Decrease of the level of intelligence.
2- Love of authority among smokers.
3- Nervous mood, anxiety and distraction.
4- The personality of the smoker is not distinguished but rather indecisive.
