The activities of 2004, were as follow:

• The volunteer, Mrs. Sahar Mustafa Al-Jadawi gave a lecture on “How to carry out the Early Diagnosis of Breast Cancer”, and that at Al-Wakra Health Center, on 29/2/2004.
• Participation in giving a lecture on (Breast health) at Rass Gas on 14/1/2004, and the volunteer with the Qatar National Cancer Society, Dr. Najati Bassisso took part therein.
• Participation in the cultural week at Qatar University for girls, and that from
21-25/3/2004, as it consisted of lectures on “Means of Early Diagnosis of Breast Cancer and a mini exposition containing manuals and brochures related to cancer.
• Having as a guest Dr. Rolla Al-Saffar from Bahrain to the State of Qatar to give lectures on cancer and means of protection against it, on 7-8/4/2004.
• Participation in the educational festival of Omar Bin Khattab School for boys.
• Participation in the conference for the elderly, with posters and manuals of the Society.
• The volunteer, Mrs. Sabah Khalil Khalifa Khalil gave a lecture on Means of Early
Diagnosis of Breast Cancer, at Wadi Al-Sail Model School dated 18/3/2004.
• Dr. Mahasin Ukasha, the volunteer with the Society, gave a lecture on “Means of Early Diagnosis of Breast Cancer”, at Al-Bayan Scientific School for girls, and that on 18/3/2004.
• Participation in the cultural week at Qatar University, and that from 21-25/3/2004.
• Participation in the cultural week at the second Omar Bin Khattab Primary School, from 20 to 22 April 2004.

ACTIVITIES DURING THIS MONTH (OCTOBER 2004)

• The Society invites in October of every year Dr. Rolla Al-Saffar, and that in order to give to the public, students and ladies lectures and workshop on means of early diagnosis of breast cancer, food and protection against it.
• A workshop was organized for Al-Wakra Secondary School, on “Means of Early
Diagnosis of Breast Cancer” dated 6/10/2004 (in the morning) at the First for Investment.
• A workshop was organized, on “Self Diagnosis of Breast Cancer” in addition to a lecture under the title “How to support cancer patients”, dated 6/10/2004 (in the afternoon) at the First for Investment.
• A workshop was organized for Wadi Al-Sail Secondary School for girls, and the School of Muslim girl, dated 7/10/2004 (in the morning) at the First for Investment.
• All the women and young ladies were invited to attend lectures on Means of Early
Diagnosis of Breast Cancer and Protection Against it, on 7/10/2004 (in the evening)
at the First for Investment.
