• The Society organized educational activities on World Environment Day in association with the Environment Department on 6/6/2000.
• Organization of lectures for volunteers in the Society given by Dr. Abdul Azim on breast cancer, and Dr. Mohamed Kakel Ibrahim on brain cancer on 17/8/2000. And a lecture on the relationship between the food and cancer given by Dr. Salwa Mohamed Yaacoub dated 24/8/2000.
• Holding a lecture on (Cancer and the importance of early diagnosis dated 7/8/2000, in Rawda Bin Jassim Secondary School for girls, given by Dr. Rafah Al-Hafez
• Holding a lecture on leukemia dated 18/8/2000.
• On 21/6/2000 holding a lecture on the child from childbirth up to reaching legal age in association with Doha Club dated 16/9/2000. The participation in the Eighth Islamic Commercial Exposition held in Doha from 15-20/October 2000.
• Holding the seventh annual cultural festival for the child 2000, dated 15/10/2000 under the slogan “volunteerism is the unlimited giving” lasting one and half months in association with the Civil Defense Department and Supreme Council for Family Affairs.
The Society organized a honoring ceremony on 21/6/2000 for participants in activities of Qatar International Technology Exposition for medical care, and the festival held in Mall, drawing competition for children, writing the best essays on the occasion of World Smoking Control Day.
