Diet After Cancer Treatment
The majority of eating connected side effects of cancer treatments disappear
after the treatment stops. However, some side effects such as loss of appetite, dried out mouth, alteration in taste or smell, struggle in swallowing, or major weight loss may continue. If this happens, talk to doctor and create a plan to
deal with the problem. As you start to feel healthier, you may want to have a nourishing diet. There's no study that insinuate that the food you eat will stop cancer from returning. However, eating healthy will aid in recovering strength, rebuilding tissue, and feeling well again.

Healthy Eating After Cancer:
• Confirm with your health care professional about any diet restrictions.
• Inquire with your nutritionist to help make a healthy balanced diet plan.
• Choose a diversity of food from all food groups.
• Aim to eat at least five to seven portions a day of fruits and vegetables, including citrus fruits and dark-green and deep-yellow vegetables.
• Consume a lot of high-fiber foods, for example, whole grain breads and cereals.
• Purchase a new fruit, vegetable, low-fat food, or wholegrain product every time
you shop for groceries.
• Reduce the quantity of fat in meals by baking or broiling food.
• Select low-fat milk and dairy products.
• Keep away from salt-cured, smoked, and pickled foods.
